2011 National Achievement Test - GSCHS gains 7.73% upsurge

Fruits of  Hard Work. GSCHS Top 10 students of the NAT 2011 as they show their certificate of recognition during the First Convocation Program on August 26, 2011.

Because of the focus of the Sophomores and the collaborative efforts of teachers and staff, General Santos City High School had an increase of 7.73% in the 2011 National Achievement Test.

From 46.94% in 2010, the result moved up to 54.67%. Result shows having the highest percentage of increase among the 5 consecutive years of NAT takers in GSCHS.

The Sophies took tests in five subjects: AP, which had the highest progress having 21.55% increase, Mathematics with 12.26% increase, English intensified 6.34%, Filipino rose 3.18% and Science decreased to 5.5%.

Students were ranked based on the result of their  NAT. The following are  students who topped the NAT 2011: Vizelle John Baliguat ranked first with an average score of 86.25%, Honey Mae Bentulan 85.83%, Karen Claire Beler 85.42%, Suzanne Grace Nabre 84.58%, Christian Noel Camuzo 84.17%, Kobe Marnel Alog 83.75%, Leslie Joyce Belais, Christine Joy Paulio and Edman Andang got 83.75%, and Czarina Mae Gubalani with an average of 83.33%.

The ten top students were  recognized and had received certificates during the Fist Convocation Program.
