With the rising student population of General Santos City National High School (GSCNHS), another edifice is to put up.

A three-storey, nine-classroom building with a comfort room for each floor is to be constructed at the Grade 7 area in GSCNHS.

This structure is initiated by the Department of Education (DepEd) with the Basic Education Facilities Fund.

The LGU Led Building is one of DepEd's projects, with a 12-million-peso budget, built for the furtherance of attaining quality education by providing students with a conducive learning environment.

Moreover, teachers, contractors, and Principal Angelito C. Llanos withheld a mass led by Pastor Elmer Polo in a ground-breaking ceremony last September 7, 2012.
