General Santos City High School (GSCHS) hosted the division Student Technologists and Entrepreneurs of the Philippines (STEP) competition on September 25-26.

Mila Rodolfo, E.S.I. Health Division supervisor declared the opening of the contest proper.

“I am happy to see many students from different schools actively participating in the event.

I hope that we’ll get many wins in the regional competition. Laban!,” articulated Rodolfo.

Subsequently, contests were done simultaneously and the results made the City Highians whooped.

Miss Irish Castillon enthralled the audiences and the judges as she was declared as the division’s Ms. STEP 2008 bagging other awards as Best in. Ethnic Wear, Best in. Techno Attire, Best in Filipiniana and Best in Interview.

Coming back with a bang, the division’s Mr. Step 2007, Amirel Dugasan worked his magic as he was declared again us Mr. STEP with his minor award- Best in Interview.

Likewise, Aimee Anatalio filched the win in Curtain Making while Maricris Ombajin secured a spot in the regionals by winning the Hair Trimming Layered Cut with Facial Make-up event.

In addition, Jacob Rogador outsmarted other contestants in Project Proposal for Animal Production. Shining along with Janine Mae Magbanua in Dish Gardening were Jay Vaughn Pelonio in Fertilizer Computation, Adonis Bautista in Fruit Basket, Louelle Jay Padao in Webpage and PC Assembly and Configuration winner Randolf James Dongon and Leonil Ronulo in automotive painting.

Still, the team composed of Jether Gil Orendain, Donnaville Delfin, Jessica Llego, Sarah Ruth Orendain and Irene Eve Tanzo in Business Plan was also victorious.
