General Santos City National High School held an earthquake drill on February 16 in the afternoon to reduce risk in the event of any unanticipated circumstances. Several student leaders, Barangay officials, and teachers led the drill. With this, the execution and its goal of getting everyone ready were both accomplished.

The Supreme Student Government would like to express its gratitude to all the officers (SSG, BSP, RCY, TSG) who ensured that everything was resolved properly by moving around and being present when someone need physical assistance. Also, we would like to thank all of the teachers who helped with the drill and the Barangay authorities outside the school who ensured that no one was injured.

Without their assistance and cooperation, the mentioned practice will not be successful. We also want to thank all of the students who adhered to the guidelines. Everyone possesses the characteristics that a CityHighian ought to have, and we are pleased to see that everyone is aware of their surroundings and knows what to do in an emergency. We are hoping that by doing this, everyone will be ready regardless of the circumstance.

Once more, thank you to everyone, and may we always keep in mind that a well-executed practice at school can help us avoid fear in real-world situations.
